☆ India's rice export ban could send decade-high prices spiking even further

India banned the exports of non-basmati white rice with immediate effect late Thursday, the latest in the government's effort to rein in high food prices. The Ministry of Consumer Affairs said the ban would help ensure "adequate availability" of non-basmati white rice in India, as well as "allay the rise in prices in the domestic market." India is the world's leading rice exporter, accounting for more than 40% of the global rice trade, as well as the second-largest producer after China. Analysts told CNBC this week's ban could send already elevated prices shooting even higher, compounding effects from the country's September ban on shipments of broken rice. Barre said Bangladesh and Nepal would be hardest hit by the ban, as both countries are top export destinations.

Only the Move Forward party has campaigned on changing the defamation law, while Pheu Thai previously said it will consider discussing it in Parliament.

В России впервые за четыре года начало расти число корпоративных банкротств. Хотя пока фактически банкротств меньше, чем до пандемии, оптимистичные цифры не полностью отражают ситуацию. В среднем длительность рассмотрения дел о банкротстве в России составляет 7-9 месяцев месяцев, а мораторий, введенный на период пандемии, отменили только 7 января. Мораторий не спас бизнес от краха, а лишь отсрочил его, и в третьм-четвертом квартале можно ожидать всплеск «отложенных» банкротств, прогнозируют аналитики Coface. Очевидно, что на дальнейшей динамике прибыли в экономике отразятся возможные новые административные ограничения, отмечает эксперт «Центра развития» ВШЭ Алексей Кузнецов.

Proporţia părăsirii timpurii a educaţiei şi formării în UE în 2019 a variat de la 3,0% în Croaţia la 17,3% în Spania. Despre abandonul universitar/ părăsirea studiilor superioare nu avem prea multe informaţii, deşi acest fenomen este studiat în alte spaţii academice. Până prin anul 1999, când admiterea în învăţământul superior se realiza pe baza unui examen, cazurile de abandon universitar erau puţine. Astăzi, deşi învăţământul universitar din România este organizat după sistemul Bologna (3 ani studiile licenţă, 2 ani masterul, 3 ani studiile de doctorat), abandonul universitar ia amploare. În antreprenoriat, sunt foarte importante atmosfera şi atitudinea; cunoştinţele şi formarea de competenţe în antreprenoriat vin pe parcursul formării elevilor şi studenţilor.
